Ānuenue is the 3rd installment of the Light Monument at ʻAlohilani Resort Waikīkī Beach. For this, I wanted to take the viewer on a trip through a rainbow. Displaying the full spectrum of colors in naturalistic views of Oʻahu, I created a procession of color, gently walking the observer up the scales of our heavenly messenger. Light Monument is a collaboration between ʻAlohilani Resort Waikīkī Beach and Joseph K Paʻahana to create captivating views of Oʻahu to be displayed at Swell Bar poolside at the Resort. The creation of 3 looping videos are projected on the entire building every night giving patrons a surreal but relaxing experience.
